The first delivery of new season Asparagas from a Mike Ashby has just arrived in the village shop, and our first full box of Bananas has added a cheerful splash of colour to our fruit and veg display. Whilst these will make a useful contribution to your “five a day”, don’t forget that we also stock Chocolate (which started life as a cocoa bean, so can probably be counted as a vegetable?)
