We are about to start advertising the ball outside of the village, so if you would like to secure you tickets we need your deposits ASAP.
Thank you so much to everyone who was involved with and/or supported the Titchmarsh Running Races this year. It was fantastic to see so many competitors out in the sunny weather running in the 3k and 10k races - in fact, we had the biggest ever combined field in the history of the event. Whether you were a racing snake up the front or just managed to make it around the challenging course, we were delighted to see you and have you compete. Official results are now available on the Village Website.
The results of the Titchmarsh 3k and 10k events are now available to download using the links below.
Oh the taste of English strawberries- a true sign that summer is on its way, and now they have arrived in their full glory at the village shop.
Well no, not actually Mary Berry but we are now stocking her brand of Hollandaise Sauce, Salad Dressing and Ceasar Salad dressing.
The shop was sad to say goodbye to one of it's longstanding volunteers Mrs Helen Mynors who has been with the shop for nearly nine years covering a four hour shift every Monday.
TVS will be open on Bank Holiday Monday from 8.00am closing at 11.00am.
While keeping all our usual stock items we have decided to add a few new ranges to delight the tastebuds whilst ensuring they will not be hard on the wallet!
At last night's Annual Parish Meeting, local bobby PC Paul Minchinson, praised Titchmarsh for our can-do attitude and sense of community. The village, he said, has one of the lowest rates of crime in the region. We have as many incidents in a year as some local towns experience in a single night. He was particularly impressed with our Facebook page and encouraged villagers to use it more often to report incidents and anti-social behaviour. Our vigilance continues to play a vital role in helping the police prevent and solve local crimes.
The Nature Reserve is a little green jewel in the Titchmarsh crown. It sits in a hollow on the other side of the A605 on the farthest edge of our Parish. At this time of year it provides one of the best walks in the area. The path around the central lake is about 3 miles long - half the distance of the forthcoming 10k.
