Community Law Service Information Bulletin
Although we are not providing our usual face to face advice service until further notice, we are still providing our specialist advice services by telephone or email. Our advisors are working remotely and set up to effectively deal with ongoing referrals from agencies and members of the public calling us for advice. Our advice and assistance is Free, Independent & Confidential (aside from our Not for Profit Immigration Service).

The East Northants Project is funded by East Northamptonshire Council providing a full range of Debt/Budgeting advice & assistance. Also, Welfare Benefits advice & assistance with advice on entitlements/Benefit income maximisation, energy saving, disputes and appeals, to all residents within East Northants Council area.
Our Rushden office Advice Shop (32 High St, Rushden NN10 0PH), is currently not open for initial telephone enquiries to access advice and assistance.
However, all services continue remotely Monday to Friday and we can be accessed for help and assistance by contacting 01 604 621038 Monday-Thursday 10.00am-2pm and Fridays 10am-1pm, or via www.communitylawservice.org.uk)

Housing – we can provide advice in respect of repossession and eviction for people eligible for Legal Aid.
Children’s Benefit Take-Up Project – funded by Children in Need for children and young people who are ill or who have a disability.
Energy Advice – help to better afford energy bills including benefit advice and income maximisation, utility debt advice, energy tariff checks, access to grants.
Self-funded Immigration Service – Specialist advice and help with claims & appeals (not for profit, fee paying service).
