Yesterday a group of Islington allotment holders helped to clear the overgrown ditch on the border of the allotment ground, as well as clearing the stone bank and filling holes in the car park area. The picture shows these volunteers taking a well earned break, enjoying hot sausage rolls and delicious cake provided by Titchmarsh Village Shop.

Titchmarsh Parish Council wish to thank these volunteers, under the leadership of Phil Green, for giving up their time to help maintain the allotment grounds; it’s much appreciated.
