Hello All,

On Sunday 2nd July 2023, Leon, our friend, my right hand man, will sadly be serving his last drinks for you at The Wheatsheaf.

Leon has been offered a job as an Assistant Manager in a pub local to him and the opportunity was too good for him to turn down.

Leon has worked with us at the Wheatsheaf for almost four years, he’s helped the pub to survive throughout Covid and has been a constant behind the bar, recently introducing wheatsheaf bingo to you all with his own twist!

His last day with us will be on Sunday 2nd July and I’d like to invite you all to join him for a leavers drink from 4pm on that day (he needs to do some work on his last day). We will then give him a big proper send off on Saturday 15th July when Leon joins us as a customer in the evening as we have live music in the bar with CJ Hatt.
