Even though the weather is still a bit gloomy let your local shop help you add some Mediterranean sunshine to you cooking. New into store we have Al Fez tagine cook-in sauces; spiced date and chickpea or apricot and coriander. I usually make my own tagines but thought I would give these a go. Quick to make (only 45 minutes in the oven onto diced chicken), I was pleasantly surprised. Gently spiced and not too sweet, a really good quick meal.
We have also added Senorio de Bernar premium extra virgin cold pressed olive oil. An excellent quality oil for dressings, dips or just by itself on a chunk of bread. We also still stock the very popular Castellino Olives – stuffed with either garlic or sun dried tomatoes and Filipino Berio balsamic vinegar.
Stop Press – having found a new supplier of the Wessex Mill Flour that we previously sold at £2.25 this has now been reduced to £1.75! If you enjoy baking and you have not yet tried this award winning flour do give it a go, I did and I will not use any other brand now.
