Parish Council Elections – 6th May

The Parish Council consists of nine elected members of the village. At the time of writing there will be 4 probable vacancies at the forthcoming election. If you want to stand as a Parish Councillor, all you need to do is complete a few forms and demonstrate you have support of residents in the community.

In the event that 9 or fewer people stand, the election will be uncontested. Those nominated will be elected without any votes being cast.

Nomination Papers

Nomination papers can be downloaded below. These should be completed and returned in person to the ENC offices in Thrapston before 4pm on Thursday 8 April 2021.

You can also get your forms informally checked by an electoral services officer to ensure that they’re correct before you submit them formally. To do this, please scan copies of your forms to the relevant satellite office at: elections@east-northamptonshire.gov.uk

Dates and deadlines

You need to submit your completed nomination forms by no later than 4pm on Thursday 8 April 2021.

A notice of validly nominated candidates for all elections, called a Statement of Persons Nominated, will be published on Friday 9 April.
