Playing Fields Update
We have recently been gifted an AED by the kind people at SADS UK (having been nominated by St Johns, Thrapston). The AED is identical to the one in the village cabinet and is accessible to users of the Pavilion. As with the village device we rather hope that it will never be used but it is located above the kitchen counter (along with a First Aid Kit) should it be needed. There are also paediatric pads for young children.
In other news, our fundraising efforts have now exceeded £20 000 for the new Play Area with a couple of large grant applications ongoing. We hope to have more news on those soon but we have now placed an order for the Zip Wire and will be confirming an installation date soon.
Keep an eye out for the next edition of the Titchmarsh Times for more updates including the dates of our major events in 2019.
As always, many, many thanks to all our helpers, fundraisers and to the committee – we really couldn’t do this without all of you.
