The team at the Wheaty have revealed the menu for the forthcoming Burn’s Night inspired food evening. Anyone hoping to sample mutton pies and deep fried Mars bars – all washed down with an Irn Bru chaser – is going to be disappointed! On the contrary, the menu the chefs have put together looks absolutely delicious.
Haggis bonbons, venison pie and cock-a-leekie stew all make an appearance – alongside poached smoked haddock and rumbledethumps (which has a lot in common with bubble and squeak)! There’s even a drop of whiskey here and there.
