Shop Update

I am pleased to report that although there are still some gaps in the ranges, the signs are that the initial wave of panic buying is receding and supplies are slowly returning to normal. Following our visit, we now have good stocks of Cheddar cheese, butter, carrots and a small selection of other vegetables plus a box of baking potatoes. We are also talking to a new supplier for vegetables so we can increase our selection, and we will give you more details as soon as the arrangements are in place.

If you are not self isolating, please continue to come to the shop to do your own shopping, rather than ring us to ask for a delivery, as this is easier for us to manage.  Please remember several of our regular volunteers are self isolating, so we have fewer people to run the shop. If you are self isolating and you have friend or neighbour who is able to come out, please ask them to shop for you. If you do need to order please ring us on 730 727 or email us titchmarsh.villageshop@gmail.com . Orders are currently being delivered on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and we will let you know if this changes.

Our limit of 2 customers in the shop keeping 2 metres apart is working well and people have only had to wait a short while before they can come in to the shop. And as a reminder please use your shop account or contactless payment where possible to minimise the use of cash.

Remember, we still have good selection of wine if you need to recover from a day looking after your children in a confined space, or if you need a pick-me up after watching endless repeats of “Bargain Hunt”!
