This week in the Village Shop
With such a mixed bag of weather at the moment, it’s not surprising that the bedding plants are a bit later this year. Last week, we took delivery of our first plant trios which sold out almost immediately. Priced at £4.95, there are three different plants in each pot and they come in a variety of colours. More stocks of the trios are now available along with single geraniums, fuchsias, petunias and surfinias at £2.95 per plant.
Last week’s vegan chocolate cake from the Sinclair Bakery sold out within hours of arrival at the Shop. We can now reveal that this Friday’s treat will be triple chocolate brownies……
The Titchmarsh Garage Sale takes place this Saturday (22nd May) starting at 9.30am and 30 households have already signed up for a pitch. Maps of where the pitches are located will be available from the Village Shop from Friday 21st May at 50p each or included in the price if you buy a coffee from our barista coffee machine. If you have to skip breakfast on Saturday to make sure you are first in the queue for a bargain, don’t forget we serve delicious hot pastries to keep you going. These can be pre-ordered too by ringing 730727.
Apologies to Marmite lovers (there must be a few of you!) but we are struggling to get any Marmite at the moment. Our wholesaler has been out of stock for a few weeks now, but we will let you know as soon as we receive more supplies. On a positive note, Burts Crisps are back on our shelves at last along with a new flavour of Pringles – Sizzl’n Extra Hot Cheese & Chilli.
Have a good week and hope you pick up some great bargains on Saturday.
