Next Friday will see the return of ToaWsT in the church. For those of you new to the village ToaWsT stands for “The original appreciation of Wine society of Titchmarsh”. The evening will start with an informal wine tasting – notes and score sheets are provided and sometimes even used!

Each table will be asked to save at least a couple of mouthfuls of their favourite wine for judging at the end of the evening. Judges to be appointed at the organiser’s whim. The theme for this tasting will be [Iberian] i.e. Spain & Portugal.

Those attending are asked to bring a bottle (or two) of wine from the Iberian Peninsula and this could include sherry or port. Following the tasting, we will enjoy a themed supper so everyone is asked to bring a prepared dish of Spanish or Portuguese food for us all to share once the tasting is over. Hot or cold; savoury or sweet. See how creative you can be!
