The Wheatsheaf Skittles Team thank everyone who supported our 12 hour skittle challenge on Saturday in remembrance and celebration of two of our team members and friends, Chris Eyles and Mark Noakes, who we sadly lost recently.

We played from 12 noon to midnight alongside villagers, friends and family who participated to show their support. There were prizes for the highest scores and winners were:

The raffle had some great and unusual prizes donated by generous local businesses and many, many raffle tickets were sold. The whole day was a massive success but this would not have been possible without the incredible team effort of The Wheatsheaf’s Gemma and Leon.

Thank you to everyone one who helped, joined in, baked or bought cake and raffle tickets and whose support kept us going.

The count up is continuing but we are delighted to share that over £5000 was raised for the Air Ambulance and Cynthia Spencer Hospice (final amount will be shared once confirmed).
