Titchmarsh Walking Group

Titchmarsh Walking Group consists of a nucleus of around 20 regulars. It is a great way to see the local countryside, keep fit and socialise. New walkers are always welcome. It’s a great way to meet and catch-up with people and get out into the bargain!

A walk is normally held on the first Saturday of every month.

A walk is normally held on the first Saturday of every month. On these days, the group typically meets on the Green – outside the village shop – at 10am. The group then departs for the start of the walk by car, often 10 to 20 miles away.

If the start of the walk is even further afield, the organiser will ask the group to meet at an earlier time. This is why it is important to add yourself to the Walking Group email list. See below.

Additional evening walks are also arranged during the summer. These always start and finish in the village.

The Group is open to everybody. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Stout footwear should be worn, and don’t forget warm waterproof clothing.

Most years the group organise an “away weekend”. Recent destinations have included Helmsley, Buxton, Bishop’s Castle, Chepstow and the French Alps.
