Book club
Do you like reading? Are you interested in books but sometimes get frustrated that you don’t get the opportunity to talk about what you have read? Well, we might have the answer.
Titchmarsh Reading Group has now been in existence for ten years during which time we have shared our opinions on over one hundred and twenty books. We try to be as wide-ranging as possible in our selection of titles and to ensure that is something for everyone. We often surprise ourselves by finding books that do not at first glance look attention-grabbing but which turn out to be riveting reads. What is always guaranteed is a lively discussion of the issues that any book provokes.
The group meets on the first Thursday of the month at 7.30 pm at The Wheatsheaf here in the village. If you would like to join us please contact Ian Curtis [732999 or icurtis@sky.com] or just turn up. You can be assured of a warm welcome.
