Thank you to residents who have been using the Acuvue recycling facility at the hub. Unfortunately, since not many people have been using it, TEG have decided to try a different item for collection that more villagers may use. To continue recycling contact lenses and packaging your nearest collection point is at Boots at Rushden Lakes.
As from NOW we are using the BIC Writing Implements recycling scheme. ALL writing implements are accepted EXCEPT wooden pencils and chalk. So you can recycle ANY brand of felt pen, highlighter, marker, correction fluid pot, correction tape, mechanical pencil and eraser pen regardless of their composition. The scheme DOES NOT accept glue sticks, erasers, rulers or other cutting objects
