On Saturday 22nd January at Titchmarsh Playing Fields. Starts: 2:00 pm
Think you might need some extra motivation to keep those New Year’s fitness resolutions?
Come along for some fitness fun at the charity Bootcamp session being run at Titchmarsh Pavilion Playing Fields on 22nd January, in aid of local charity, Thomas’s Fund. The session is being run by PT instructor and owner of Limitless Training Club, Dwayne Paul and is being organised by Stuart and Esther Mitchell (Titchmarsh residents) and friends Libby Bowness and Chris Featherstone who are all raising funds for charity places for the London Landmark Half Marathon on 3rd April. This is a fun event for all abilities – children over the age of 10 are welcome to participate with accompanying adult. Refreshments will be served outdoors following the event.
Thomas’s Fund has been providing much needed music therapy for children and young people with life limiting conditions and/or complex needs (age 0 – 19) across Northamptonshire since 2007. A team of HCPC registered music therapists work in the home, on the children’s hospital wards and in the community within specialist groups to provide music therapy, providing individuals who may be limited in their ability to verbalise their thoughts and feelings to express themselves often on a deep psychological level using the powerful, yet accessible, non-verbal medium of music and to work towards development, where appropriate in areas of communication, social, cognitive and physical skills. This service is provided free of charge to children/young people by Thomas’s Fund but, with no statutory funding, is funded purely through fundraising, donations and grants.
If you would like to come along to the bootcamp – and we would love to welcome you – please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book. If bootcamps are not your thing, but you would like to donate to Thomas’s Fund, please follow the link to our justgiving page: www.justgiving.com/esther-mitchell2
