Yuletide certainly came to Titchmarsh this weekend with the arrival of the Christmas tree on the Green! The Parish Councillors, along with several volunteers, helped to erect the tree – a task made a lot easier thanks to the Michael Alderman’s JCB. The activity drew the attention of several excited onlookers – no-doubt wishing that the arrival of the tree marks a change in the year. Later that evening the lights came on bathing the green in a cheery seasonal glow.

Christmas Mini Market

The tree isn’t the only Christmassy activity happening this weekend. Don’t forget the Village Shop Christmas Market being held today (Sunday) from 12 noon. There will be lots of goodies available including gift items, Titchmarsh Tipple – plus the BBQ!
