Coronavirus
The Village Shop committee has considered how we can best manage the operation of the shop whilst the uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus continues. Guidance has already been issued to our staff and volunteers regarding the importance of regular hand washing and disinfecting of principal surfaces, door handles, equipment etc.
Payments in the shop can continue to be made by cash and card, and our machine can accept contactless payments which you may prefer to use. The shop also offers personal accounts, where you can deposit money and then sign for your purchases as you shop. Accounts can then be topped up with payments as necessary. If you would like to open an account, please contact the shop for an application form and one of the managers will arrange this for you. We will continue to stock the shop as best we can during these difficult times and have already received a number of offers of help with deliveries should you need to self isolate or may struggle to shop in person.

The Parish Council consists of nine elected members of the village. Our main aim is to represent the interests of parishioners at local, regional and national level, and to contribute to the debate on issues that might affect them. Parishioners are encouraged to communicate with the Parish Council, bringing any matters of concern to our attention.
