First Titchmarsh Tidy-Up Day a Great Success!

Titchmarsh was a hive of activity on Saturday (14th April). Almost 30 villagers turned out to help in the main work party – along with countless others who simply tidied-up outside their own homes. Jobs included scrubbing down and re-oiling the village benches, re-painting the street signs, re-establishing overgrown footpaths and litter picking. There was even time to polish the village letterbox! Special thanks, here, to the Titchmarsh Village Shop who contributed loads of cleaning materials and cloths for the tasks.

After all the jobs had been done and the tools put away, there was still time for a picnic lunch in the church.

It was a glorious, sunny day and yet another terrific reminder of just how well this community pulls together.

Well done everyone.
