In most instances you don’t need to log-in. You can freely browse through the entire website without ever having to log-in at all. However, there are a couple of specific instances where being logged-in is necessary:
  1. To change your account info – like your email address
  2. To add content to the site – like a news update or event
  3. To add a comment
  4. To access certain information which is reserved for villagers only
In these instance you must log-in. NB: At the time of writing, there are currently no pages on the site reserved for villagers only – so unless you wish to add a news story/event or change your email address, you never need to log-in.
Go to the main navigation bar – which runs across the top of every page on the site. Hover your mouse over “Members” and wait for the menu to drop down. Finally, Select “Log-in” from the options. See below:

Note, if you are already logged the “Log-in” option will not be available!

First make sure you are logged-in.

Next, visit the Submit an Event page.

You will be presented with a simple form which you can fill in with details of your event.

To add an Event you will need to complete several steps:

  1. Add a Title
  2. Add a Description
  3. Choose a Date
  4. Select a Start Time
  5. Choose a venue
  6. Upload a Photo

The rest of the form is mostly optional.

Finally, submit the event.

First make sure you are logged-in. Next, visit the Add News page. You will be presented with a simple form which you can fill in with details of your news item. Full instructions are provided at every step. To add a News Story you will need to complete 4 steps:
  1. Add a title
  2. Add some text
  3. Select a News category
  4. Upload a photo
Strictly speaking you do not need to provide a photo – but your story will look better if you do. If you do not upload your own photo a picture will be added automatically based upon which category you select. If you choose to add your story to the Church category, for example, a picture of the church will be shown unless you provide something else. Most people find it easier to create their new stories before hand – using something like Microsoft Word. Once you are ready, log-in, open the form and then simply copy-n-paste your news item from word into the form. Once complete, simply submit the form.

Go to the Password Reset page and insert your email address in the box provided. A new password will be sent to you.
