On Sunday at the village shop and pre-school mini market, the final tickets were sold for the magnificent gingerbread house created by Angie Snelling from Polopit.

The lucky winner of this culinary masterpiece was Lisa Robinson who is already busy building an extension to her dining table so she can show it off on Christmas Day!

Congratulations to Lisa, and a big thank you to everyone who bought tickets and helped us to raise £122.
