Harvest Lunch

On Sunday 30th of September 2018 at St Mary’s Church. Starts: 12:00 pm

The secret will soon be out! Have you ever tasted Alan Powell’s Irish Tea Loaf? For years these cakes have been enjoyed nay salivated over at village events such as the Fete, 10K, boundary walk, but up until now the recipe has remained a closely guarded secret. Soon all will be revealed, as after the Harvest Lunch in the Church at 12:30 on Sunday 30th September, places at a Masterclass on how to make this wonderful confection will be auctioned to the highest bidders. Will you be one of the lucky ones? If not, will you win a place at one of Margaret & Michael Alderman’s famous Burns Night suppers? Or maybe you will settle for some home grown fruit & veg. Tickets for the Harvest Lunch & Auction are £8 for adults; £4 for 4-12 year olds and under 4s are free. A two course meal will be provided and there will be a bar and raffle. Tickets are available from Julia Powell 732283. Please don’t leave it too late to get your tickets as the organisers need to know how much food to provide. GF and veggie options will be available.
