The build on the new play area will start on 10 June. To prepare for this, we are going to close the current play area on Friday 31 May so we can start breaking it down.

We are looking for volunteers to help with this work who have a spade, shovel, angle grinder and maybe a JCB? We need to clear the current site and fencing so if anyone wants an item of play equipment then please get in touch.

We will be doing a clearing weekend on Saturday and Sunday 1/2 June with refreshments available (including a BBQ lunch for the workers).
Please get in touch if you can help or if you want a particular piece of equipment to take away – it all has to go!

The bottom line is that the new play area will take around 4 weeks to complete during which time we would ask for your patience as the works are completed.
