There was a full house in the Wheatsheaf on Thursday night as the pub quiz made a welcome return. There wasn’t a free table to be had as teams from as far away as Clopton all came together, ready to pit their wits and knowledge against each other.

Local photographer and beard fancier Pete Jousiffe was in charge of proceedings, skilfully negotiating 5 fun-filled rounds with humour and a firm hand. He was rewarded with the usual noise and dissent we have come to expect from a lively Titchmarsh quiz crowd!

It was a great night and promises plenty more to come.

The next quiz will take place on Tuesday 24th August. This makes a change from the usual Thursday slot and has been chosen to give the pub an opportunity to host more diners later in the week.

Teams of up to 8 are invited to attend. Book early to avoid disappointment!
