Last night’s re-run of ‘The Poet and The Clown’ was as popular as the original presentation in March 2023.

A full Clubroom of visitors were enthralled and fascinated by the emotional stories relayed by our very own villagers, about their famous relatives.

A big thank you goes to Lucy Milner, who relived the life story of her great grandfather the famous poet Edward Thomas; and to Antar Howarth who delighted us with the astonishing story of the life of his great grandfather Coco the Clown.

It was an amazing evening, enjoyed by all, who would have thought that we have such a rich history within our village.
