This Saturday Titchmarsh will be playing host to its first major village event in over a year. The Titchmarsh Garage Sale has attracted a flurry of attention – and no wonder. After being locked down for so long people are keen for things to do. The Garage Sale has come at the perfect time and with over 40 pitches to explore around the village it promises to be quite a day out!
In order to see where those pitches are you will need to get a map. These are available for 50p from the village shop (or free if you buy a coffee).
Real American Hotdog sausages – cooked by real Americans – will be on sale, but not at the shop! You’ll either have to buy a map or follow the smell of sizzling onions to find out where!
The Sale officially kicks-off at 9:30am. However, as is customary at such events, buyers may arrive much earlier to see if they can grab the first bargains. The event has been promoted widely on social media for some time. This means we can expect to see a steady stream of traffic and visitors heading into the village on Saturday morning. Hopefully people will remember to park responsibly.
The weather looks like it should be fairly dry. Hopefully it will be a grand day out for everyone!
