Titchmarsh Open Gardens 23 – When is the next one?

The feel-good factor was apparent from every quarter! From the minute visitors arrived to park their car at the Playing Fields, they were impressed by how beautiful Titchmarsh was and by how friendly us Titchmarshians were. People had travelled from as near as Clopton and Thrapston and as far as Bedfordshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.

Garden Participants had a lovely time talking to our visitors about their gardens and various other topics. We had many compliments about how wonderful the gardens were, how different they all were, how organised everything was and how lovely the cakes were!
Some Garden Participants were a little apprehensive about the event but we all agreed it was a wonderfully positive experience and several asked when is the next one?

Alan Titchmarsh’s signed gardening book, was raffled along with a donated flower display from Eden and raised over £100.

Sidney Bernstein opened his studio, selling several paintings and raising nearly £1,000 – all of which he has very kindly donated to STAUNCH.

Refreshments served in the gardens, alone, raised £550.

In total Open Gardens has raised £4,040 towards the STAUNCH fighting fund.

The STAUNCH Fund-Raising Team would like to send a huge thank you to all involved for helping to make the Titchmarsh Open Gardens a HUGE success!
