Titchmarsh Primary School Community Day – Outside Space/Playground Tidy
The Governors of Titchmarsh Primary School are holding a Community day at the school with the intention of giving the outside space and Playground area a Summer Spruce-up.
Mrs Cheatley has been working with Afterschool Club to encourage their interest in gardening and we would like to support this by clearing space and creating a more welcoming environment for the children to play in.
Tasks will include, weeding, clearing, removal of the table tennis table, painting of shed and wooden planters and general tidying of space.
If anyone within the school community is able to donate resources, paint, planters, compost or even plants/seeds towards this cause, then they would be gratefully received. If you cannot donate items but are willing to give up some free time, then we welcome any support from our school community to support with this. Donations of blue paint for the ceramic planters and dark wood stain for wooden planters and the shed would be welcome.
If you can donate items or time, please contact Vice Chair of Governors Lisa Curtis on lcurtis@titchmarshprimary.co.uk
( please do not donate items straight into school without prior contact.)
Thank you for your continued support of Titchmarsh School.
