On Sunday 9th May Titchmarsh Environmental Group opened its Recycling Hub in The Wheatsheaf Car Park. A small crowd had gathered. Jackie Rowe and Dove Dove cut the ribbon and Sharon Cole from TEG announced the Recycling Hub open!

TEG have been working with Titchmarsh Parish Council and The Wheatsheaf for several months to make this happen.

Titchmarsh residents will now be able to recycle 5 different items that will be taken to various Terracycle collection points by TEG members. By using this recycling facility you will help avoid more of our waste going into land fill sites.

Items you can take to the hub are:

• Tetrapaks for juice, milk etc Please rinse and squash before putting in bins.
• Crisp packets including multi pack bags- Please keep flat.
• Soft Cheese wrappers – all brands including supermarket brands
• Coffee pods
• Medicine blister packs- ensure they are empty
• Dental Care products
