Titchmarsh Village Litter Free for Open Gardens on 18th
Fifteen dedicated Litter Pickers including Kevin from Wigsthorpe Wombles and Lucy who is taking the photo – walked the lanes around Titchmarsh in temperatures of 24 degrees. We collected 19 bags of litter, a generator, a saw and several more unsavoury items! That’s not bad in less than 2 hours as we stopped a bit earlier due to the heat! And we managed to have fun!!
Titchmarsh now looks spick and span ready for Open Gardens on Sun 18th June – so woe betide anyone who drops litter or decides to fly tip in the next week!
A huge thank you to all our volunteers.
