What’s On/What’s Off

The Coronavirus is having a dramtic impact on our daily life. This is particularly true in terms of the number of events that have been cancelled. Across the nation – from London’s West End to Glastonbury – theatres are closing their doors and music festivals are shutting up shop. It’s a worrying trend and one we sadly cannot avoid here in Titchmarsh. Here is a list of what’s on and what’s off:

Cancelled or Postponed

  • Wheatsheaf closed but offering a take-away service (food & drink)
  • 10k & 3K (May 10th) – 2020 Event Cancelled
  • Fete (June 13th) – Postponed
  • All Church Services suspended until further notice
  • Clubroom closed - all Clubroom activies postponed
  • Pavilion closed - all Pavilion activities postponed
  • Monday Morning Church Cafe - postponed
  • Walking Group April Walk and AGM - postponed

Still On and Still Open

  • Village Shop Still Open as Normal
  • Church open as normal for quiet contemplation (no services)
  • Titchmarsh Flower and Vegetable Show - going ahead
  • Cycle Sportive - going ahead

Obviously this list may be subject to change and you are advised to check back at regular intervals for updates. It’s also very important for people to understand that I only know what I know! If your event or activity is not listed here, it’s because I have not been informed about it. If you would like to add something to this list simply drop me an email.

Also, if you provide a local service please feel free to tell people about it here.
