On Saturday 7th October we will be holding a Murder Mystery Evening in the church to raise money for our heating fund. We have an outdated, unreliable and expensive heating system and we need to replace it with something modern, efficient and eco-friendly.

The event starts with the opening of the bar at 7 p.m. for a prompt start to the Murder Mystery at 7:30. Tickets are £17.50 per person and this includes a welcome drink, a two course supper and a fiendishly difficult plot to unravel. Tables of 8-10 are available to book but don’t worry if there aren’t 8 of you we will always find you someone friendly to sit with. We have been told a few details – not whodunnit obviously – and the plot will be set in the national finals of a quiz competition. The winners of the quiz will go on to the worldwide final in Barbados so lots of incentives to win and maybe do a dirty deed or two! Will you be able to identify the “red herrings”?

To get everyone in the mood we have decided to adopt a Caribbean theme so turn out your brightest shirts and frocks. As always there will be a raffle and please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
